Stella is chatting away, and every day we hear her using new words and phrases. I had been counting, but now that we are well above seventy words, I am going to quit. Just today, I realized that she has been calling my guitar a cello. I thought she had been saying "Jello" for weeks! She makes several different animal noises and names (cat, dog, donkey, horse, snake, tiger/lion, fish, monkey, cow, rooster, sheep) and reads her first words books to herself. She is certainly keeping us on our toes and impressing us daily!

A few of the recent acquisitions are: cello, happy, pen, doctor, picture, brush, teeth, Daydid (for David, which pleased him immensely), doll, boat, tractor, snow, bath, and flower. And these are just the ones she had picked up in the last week! She loves talking about the lights and pictures around the house- "It's a light," and, "That's a picture."
In other news, Stella decided that she likes spaghetti noodles, and chik nuggets. Today, Daddy gave her her first cheeto. Lucky girl!
